Give the passage one clear idea
Choose a project introduction, a product description, or an English note you have permission to use. A passage built around one idea is usually easier to revisit than a collection of unrelated sentences. Keep the written source available so you can compare it with the audio.
Create a text document in FolioTone and paste the passage, or import a PDF or TXT through Files. Review punctuation and remove copied menus, advertisements, and captions that do not belong. The audio should contain the material you meant to hear, rather than everything in the clipboard.
Select Clear English deliberately
Clear English generates English speech offline on the device. Choose a voice matching the language of the text yourself. For material mixing Vietnamese and English, separate it into suitable passages instead of expecting the app to switch voices automatically between sentences or individual words.
Preview a short part, especially if the passage contains names, abbreviations, or specialist terms. You can adjust the listening copy to make a sentence easier to follow while keeping the original source separately. That preserves its initial wording and presentation for later reference.
Make a session you can revisit
Keep FolioTone in the foreground during generation. Once the audio part is complete, play it while following the text. Pause at sentences you want to inspect. This creates listening material around your needs; it is not a pronunciation assessment or a measurement of language proficiency.
When the content feels familiar, try playing prepared audio with the screen locked. Export WAV or M4A within the limits shown in the app if you want a separate copy in Files. Check the exported file before deleting any material you may still need.
Keep synthetic speech in perspective
One synthetic voice cannot represent every accent, speaker, or nuance of a human performance. For conversation or a lesson requiring a particular pronunciation, use additional recordings with context. Avoid treating a generated passage as the sole authority for how an unfamiliar word is spoken.
Clear English has no daily character quota on Free. Batch actions and exports still have separate limits displayed in the app. Short passages let you check both the listening material and your workflow before you spend time preparing a much larger collection of documents.
