Information about using FolioTone, purchasing Pro and your content rights.
1. App license
The app is distributed through the App Store. When no custom license is provided through the App Store, use of the app is governed by Apple’s Standard EULA. This page describes how the product works and does not replace the Standard EULA with a custom license.

You retain your rights in books, text and imported content. Import, convert, export or share content only when you have the right to do so. Generating audio does not grant additional distribution rights in books, works or third-party voices.
3. Free and Pro
Free includes two voices without character quotas and features subject to the limits listed on the Free/Pro page. Pro is a one-time purchase, not an auto-renewing subscription; Apple verifies ownership. Price and taxes are shown by the App Store before confirmation. Pro does not promise faster speech generation.

To restore Pro, use the purchasing Apple Account and choose Restore Purchases in the app. Pending purchases unlock after Apple confirms them. Refund requests go to Apple and are decided under Apple’s applicable policies; we never request card information by email.

FolioTone requires iOS/iPadOS 18 or later. OCR accuracy, pronunciation and generation speed can vary with documents, language, hardware, temperature, battery and storage. Prepared audio can play with the screen locked; longer generation needs the app in the foreground. Generated output is not guaranteed to be a precise transcript or pronunciation.
6. Data and statutory rights
Manage your data and export copies in the app. Privacy practices are described separately. Nothing on this page is intended to exclude consumer rights protected by applicable law.
