Manage & delete data

FolioTone has no server accounts. Delete data directly on your device without sending us your books or passwords.
1. Delete a book
In Library, open the book’s menu, choose Delete and confirm. The app’s PDF copy and associated book data are removed. A remembered PDF password is removed from Keychain when the book is deleted. Your original PDF in Files is not deleted.
2. Delete only audio or extracted-text caches
Open Settings → Storage & data → choose a book → Delete audio or Delete extracted text. Read the confirmation: edited text and cleanup rules may be retained. To remove all book data, delete the book from Library.
3. Text documents
Delete a document in Text. Manage its audio in Settings → Storage & data → Text document audio. Exported files saved to Files need to be deleted at their saved location.
4. Uninstalling and backups
Use iOS Delete App to remove local app storage; Offload App can retain documents. iCloud/device backups, shared files and copies in other apps must be managed separately. Uninstalling does not cancel Pro ownership; restore using the purchasing Apple Account.
5. Website and support email data
Clear website data for foliotone.wpstories.org in your browser to remove the saved language preference. If you sent support email and want it deleted, contact support from the same email address.
