Choose one document to try

After completing or skipping onboarding, open a sample book or import a PDF or TXT through Files. Use a short document whose content you already know so that you can recognize whether the result is right. Download externally stored files while connected before importing them.

This is a short introduction, not a promise about generation time. Hardware and passage length affect how long preparation takes. A few clearly written sentences are a better first test than a long scanned book if you mainly want to understand the reading and listening experience.

Review text and select a voice

Open the book and switch to its text view. Compare a few extracted sentences with the original page. Use OCR when a scanned page needs it, then review the recognized words, particularly names and Vietnamese diacritics. Continue when the text is clear enough for your listening purpose.

Choose a Vietnamese voice for Vietnamese text or Clear English for English. Gentle, Warm, and Clear English have no daily character quota on Free. When trying another voice, read its displayed allowance so you understand why a generation request might be limited.

Prepare one part and listen

In a book, listen from the page start or your chosen position. In Text, paste a passage and generate it in parts. Keep the application in the foreground during generation. Play the first completed part and check its content, language, and volume before preparing more.

If the result is difficult to follow, review the words before changing many options. Missing punctuation, broken lines, and incorrectly ordered extraction can affect speech. Editing and retrying a short section is more practical than repeatedly generating an entire long document while diagnosing a source problem.

Finish with a useful next step

For lock-screen listening, complete preparation before playing the audio and locking the phone. If you need a separate file, try WAV or M4A export within the displayed Free limits. Open the saved file to check it rather than assuming a dismissed share sheet confirms the result.

By the end, you should know how to import, choose a voice, and play a complete passage. Explore continuous listening, batch preparation, and per-book preferences afterward. Consider Pro once you can identify a Free limit that matters to your actual workflow, rather than purchasing before trying it.
